At Neurofocus, we provide comprehensive adult ADHD assessments conducted by a Senior Clinical Psychologist in line with the National Clinical Programme Guidelines. Our process also explores emotional wellbeing and cognitive functioning to give a full picture of your strengths and challenges.
Before your appointment, we’ll email you forms to gather key background information—covering areas like development, health, motor skills, social history, and more. This helps us understand your experiences and tailor the assessment to your needs.
You’ll receive questionnaires exploring your symptoms, emotional wellbeing, and social functioning to support early identification.
If you have any prior psychological or school reports, please email them to us as they can offer valuable insights during assessment.
You’ll receive a secure link to complete the Conners Rating Scales. A second link will be provided for someone close to you (e.g. a partner or friend) to complete the informant version. This helps benchmark your symptoms against others of similar age and gender.
You’ll meet with our psychologist for a detailed discussion of your symptoms, emotional health (e.g. anxiety, low mood), and cognitive profile. This in-person session forms the clinical core of your assessment.
We’ll conduct a structured diagnostic interview to assess ADHD across your lifespan, based on internationally recognised standards.
You’ll receive personalised feedback via a phone or online call, where we explain the outcomes of your assessment and discuss next steps.
You’ll be provided with a comprehensive report including: Diagnostic outcomes, Clinical and educational recommendations, Therapy and resource suggestions tailored to your needs.
If medical treatment is appropriate, we’ll refer you to a Consultant Psychiatrist for further discussion and support.
Our fee is €1100 – The assessment takes about 7 hours for all elements of clinical work, administration and report writing.
